Ajantahc’s Director Vedan Choolun believes that Cultural exchange with Asia is of paramount importance

Ajantahc’s purpose as laid out by Mayfair, London based Co-Founder Mr. Vedan Choolun is a unique initiative using state of the art AI techniques to digitally preserve 2nd Century BC Ajanta Cave Paintings and Artefacts to benefit generations to come.

 Ajanta Caves a UNESCO World Heritage Site and place of pilgrimage for Asian Buddhists around the world.

 Buddhism has a strong presence across Asia both culturally and spiritually. There are many traditions of Buddhism and different types according to the country they are from. Buddhists have traditionally for thousands of years made pilgrimage to Buddhist holy sites in India from all across Asia. These bonds and shared cultural history have endured through time and persist strongly to the present day.

 Whether it is Chinese Buddhists coming to Bodh Gaya to give offerings to the Buddha or Japanese Buddhists coming to Ajanta Caves, this is but a small window into Buddhist supplication in India.

 There are significant numbers of Buddhists from countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam who know and appreciate that India is the Land of Lord Buddha.

 Ajantahc’s Mayfair, London based Co-Founder Mr. Vedan Choolun is working closely with Sapio Analytics Chairman Prasant Nikam to promote, preserve and offer Indian culture, Art, and Heritage to Asian countries.

 Leading the preservation and digitization efforts is Mr. Ashwin Srivastav Co-Founder based in Mumbai, India. The digitized form of these paintings in Ajanta Caves in Aurangabad District, Maharashtra India are designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 The Ajanta Paintings will be restored and stored on an island in Svalbard, Norway together with other digital artifacts from the Vatican Library, political histories, masterpieces from times past.
